Should I buy my eSIM data plan before traveling, or when I arrive?

What happens if I use up my data or my plan validity expires?

It depends on whether you run out of data or your plan's time limit expires:

- If you use up your high-speed data limit: You will NOT lose your connection! EgoViet provides unlimited basic data, meaning your internet speed will simply be reduced (throttled) to a lower speed (usually around 128kbps - 256kbps). This is perfectly sufficient for sending text messages via WhatsApp, Zalo, or Messenger.

- If your plan validity period expires (e.g., your 7 days are up): The eSIM profile will expire, and your internet connection will stop working completely.

Can I keep my WhatsApp number with an EgoViet eSIM?

Yes, you can use WhatsAppp with your eSIM plan like normal.
