eSIM compatible devices – Full up-to-date list
To use an egoViet eSIM, the device must meet the following requirements:
- The device supports eSIM.
- The device is not network-locked or carrier-locked.
- The device is not jailbroken (iOS) or rooted (Android).
In this article, you can check if your device supports eSIM by following the instructions or viewing the list.
How to check if your device supports eSIM
You can check if your device supports eSIM by following these steps:
- Open the calling app on your device (not a messaging app like WhatsApp — it has to be an app designed for making mobile calls).
- Dial the following number: *#06#
- Check to see if there is a 32-digit code labeled as EID.
If an EID exists, then your device supports eSIM.
Devices that support eSIM
You can refer to our list to see if the device you want to use is compatible with eSIM. Please note that some regional models may not support eSIM.
Our list is updated regularly, but it's not exhaustive – if you don't see your device, check with the manufacturer to confirm that it supports eSIM.

• iPhone devices from Hong Kong and Macao (excluding iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone SE 2020, and iPhone XS).
* For iPhones and iPads purchased in TURKEY:
• If you set up your device after June 23, 2020, your eSIM will be activated after setup — contact your carrier if your eSIM is not activated.
• For devices set up before June 23, 2020 , follow the steps in this link to activate your eSIM. This process may require you to erase data on your device – please ensure you have backed up your device beforehand.
