- You need Wi-Fi to install it: Downloading an eSIM profile requires a stable internet connection. It is much easier and safer to set it up at home rather than hunting for free Wi-Fi at a crowded airport.

- It won't activate until you arrive: Installing the eSIM at home will NOT activate your data plan. Your plan's validity period only starts counting down when you land at your destination and your phone connects to the local network.

It depends on whether you run out of data or your plan's time limit expires:

- If you use up your high-speed data limit: You will NOT lose your connection! EgoViet provides unlimited basic data, meaning your internet speed will simply be reduced (throttled) to a lower speed (usually around 128kbps - 256kbps).
