To use an EGoViet eSIM, your phone needs to support eSIM and be unlocked (not tied to one carrier).

Check in 10 seconds: open your phone's dialer and dial *#06#. If you see an EID number, your phone supports eSIM.

Check that it's unlocked: on iPhone, go to Settings → General → About → Carrier Lock. It should say No SIM restrictions. On Android, look for Network unlock status in Settings or ask your carrier.

Before you start:

• Connect to a stable Wi-Fi network.
• Open your EGoViet email on a second screen (a laptop or tablet) or print it, so you can scan the QR code with your iPhone.
• Install the eSIM the day before you fly. Your plan won't start until you connect in your destination.

Install the eSIM

1. Go to Settings → Cellular (called Mobile Data or Mobile Service in some countries).
2. Tap Add eSIM.
3. Tap Use QR Code and scan the QR code from your email.
4. Tap Continue and wait a moment while the eSIM is added.
5. Give the new line a label, such as EGoViet or Travel, so it's easy to recognize.
6. When asked for your default line, keep your Primary number for calls, iMessage and FaceTime.
7. For Cellular Data, keep your Primary line for now, and make sure Allow Cellular Data Switching is off.

That's it. When you land, turn on the eSIM line and Data Roaming, then select the eSIM for Cellular Data.

💡 Can't scan the code? Tap Enter Details Manually and paste the SM-DP+ Address and Activation Code from your email.

⚠️ Don't delete the eSIM after installing it. Most eSIMs can only be installed once.

Your plan starts when your eSIM first connects to a network in your destination, not when you buy it or install it.

From that moment, the validity period you chose (for example, 7 days) starts counting down.

Your plan ends when either of these happens first:

• the validity period runs out, or
• you've used all the data on a total-data plan.

On a daily data plan, you get a fresh allowance every day until the validity period ends.

💡 Choose a validity that covers every day you'll need data, including your arrival and departure days.

Before you start: connect to a stable Wi-Fi network and open your EGoViet email on a second screen or print it.

Install with the QR code

1. Go to Settings → Connections → SIM manager.
2. Tap Add eSIM.
3. Tap Scan QR code from service provider and scan the QR code from your email.
4. Tap Confirm (or Add) and wait for the eSIM to be added.
5. Give the eSIM a name, such as EGoViet, so it's easy to recognize.

Can't scan the code? Install it manually

1. On the scan screen, tap Enter activation code.
2. Enter the code in this format: LPA:1$SM-DP+ Address$Activation Code, using the details from your email. If your email includes the full code starting with LPA:1$, simply copy and paste it.
3. Tap Connect (or Add) to finish.

Google Pixel and other Android phones: go to Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → Add SIM (menu names vary by brand; search eSIM in Settings) and scan the QR code.

When you land, turn on the eSIM, select it for Mobile data and turn on Data roaming.

⚠️ Don't delete the eSIM after installing it. Most eSIMs can only be installed once.

1. Find your destination. Type the country you're visiting in the Where are you traveling? search bar, or browse the eSIM store.
2. Pick your plan. Choose the Validity (how many days you need) and the Data Plan (how much data).
3. Check out. Add the plan to your cart, enter your email address and pay.
4. Get your eSIM. Your QR code and installation guide arrive by email within minutes.

Please double-check your email address at checkout, as that's where your eSIM is sent.
